Pets come in many shapes and sizes from dogs to hamsters, goldfish to highland cattle, and everything in between. We are happy to photograph them all.
At Peter Rhoades photography we take great pleasure in producing beautiful and simplistic portraits of your pets. We pride ourselves on being able to capture the true personality and character of your pet, providing you with a lasting memory.
Stress Free Environment
Every shoot is tailor made to suit you and your pet allowing us to produce beautiful images in a stress free environment. We will work with you on locations for shoots as only you know when and where your pet is truly comfortable, be it at home on the sofa or out in the scenic countryside.
Arrangements for the photo session are easy
We will meet with you prior to the shoot to discuss the type of images you’d like and view locations. This meeting also provides an opportunity for your pet to become comfortable with us prior to the session ensuring that we get the best photos first time round. Unlike other photographers we do not place time restraints on the session and no photography will take place until your pet is totally comfortable, happy and stress free. This will ensure that we achieve the best quality results for you. At the end of the shoot we take away the image files and process them to the highest standards. A slide show is then prepared for you so you can decide which images of your pet you would like to have. All our images can be supplied as high resolution digital files or as a completed album or single mounted prints, the decision is down to you.

Our policy is that you pay nothing until you are happy with the images we have produced. We have this policy because we know we can produce stunning imagery of your loved and treasured pet. As with all our photography quality and client satisfaction means everything to us.
All our pet portraits, as with our wildlife images, are only taken with natural light with no flash being used. Our experience shows that using flash photography is the quickest way to stress your pet.
As we only shoot with natural light, there will be times with the good old british weather that photography won't be possible and in such cases a new date and time will be arranged at no cost to the client.
Prices start as low as £65
The pricing for pet portraits can vary hugely starting as low as £65.00 for a home visit and two A4 exhibition grade prints, but ultimately it all depends on your requirements. Therefore we find the best policy is for you to contact us and we can discuss your requirements and arrange a price and image package that suits you.
